SENATOBIA - Thursday's Northwest men's basketball contest against Louisiana Knights Post Grad has been canceled and deemed a forfeit, the college's athletic department announced Wednesday afternoon.

With the rare win by forfeit, the Rangers are now 2-4 on the season. The women's game against Baton Rouge is still on as scheduled, with the Lady Rangers tipping off at 5:30 P.M.

Northwest is scheduled to return to men's basketball action on Monday, December 2 at Mississippi Delta for a 7:30 P.M. tip-off. The Rangers will also have one final home contest before Christmas break, welcoming Phillips Community College of the University of Arkansas on Thursday, Dec. 5. Tip-off for that contest is slated for 7:30 P.M. at Howard Coliseum, with live broadcast coverage on Ranger TV and Action News 5 Plus.
