ALBERTVILLE, Ala. - Due to inclement weather in the forecast throughout the week, all games scheduled for this weekend's Sand Mountain Classic have been canceled.

Northwest softball was scheduled to open its 2024 campaign in the tournament, with four games on the schedule, including a battle with tournament host Snead State.

Softball fans will now have to wait until Thursday, February 8, when the Rangers are slated to open the season against Dyersburg State. The doubleheader is scheduled for 11 A.M. and 1 P.M., with broadcast coverage available on Ranger TV.
