SENATOBIA - Following a historic volleyball season that saw Northwest claim its first NJCAA Region 23 title, coach Allison Burchyett has set her 2023 spring exhibition schedule.

Three matches are scheduled for the Lady Rangers, starting with a home doubleheader on Friday, March 24 against Rust College and Frontier. Northwest and Rust College will play at 10 A.M. and the Lady Rangers will match up with Frontier at noon.

From there, Northwest will close out spring practice with a road match at Chattanooga State, set for Friday, April 28.

Burchyett returns a solid core of returning freshmen from last season, including six players that finished with 100 kills or more. The group is led by Micah Swift, who led the team with 217 total kills, followed by 188 from Kennedy Smith and 166 from Jacia Hayes, who also led the Rangers with 73 total blocks last season.

Other notable returners include Hailey Stephens, who totaled 111 assists, and Cristen Cleveland, who led Northwest with 46 service aces and finished third with 184 digs.
