BOONEVILLE - Northwest men's basketball will close out the 2023 portion of its season this weekend, traveling to Booneville to take part in the Harvey Childers Classic.

Hosted by Northeast Mississippi Community College, all games will take place at Bonner Arnold Coliseum from December 8-9. Northwest (2-6) is scheduled to face off against Motlow State (Tenn.) on Friday at 5:30 P.M., before matching up against State Fair (Mo.) on Saturday at 2 P.M.

Although the Rangers will not face tournament host Northeast, the two teams will meet on Thursday, February 8 in Senatobia for what's sure to be a critical conference battle.

Both of this weekend's games will be broadcast by Northeast at nemcctv.com/blackchannel/. The Rangers will then resume play in the new year, first traveling to Dyersburg State on January 6, before hosting Copiah-Lincoln on Thursday, Jan. 11.
