POPLARVILLE - An exciting regular season of volleyball has drawn to a close, giving way to the excitement of the postseason. Now, Northwest knows its schedule for this weekend's Region 23 Tournament.

Finishing as the No. 2 seed, the Lady Rangers will take on third-seeded Itawamba this Friday afternoon at 5 P.M. from Shivers Gymnasium in Poplarville. The match will be preceded by top-seed and tournament host Pearl River hosting fourth-seed Northeast at 3 P.M.

Winners of the two Friday matches will meet on Saturday afternoon at 4 P.M. for the Region 23 Championship. The winner of the championship will then advance to the NJCAA Gulf District Tournament, scheduled for November 2-5 in Mobile, Ala.
