SENATOBIA - Expected inclement weather has caused a couple of alterations to the Northwest baseball and softball schedules.

First, the Northwest baseball team has added a new home-opening doubleheader, scheduled for Sunday, February 5. The Rangers are scheduled to host Bevill State at Jim Miles Field at 1/4 P.M. in a pair of seven-inning contests.

As of now, the original season-opener against Jackson State (Tenn.) is still scheduled for Wednesday, Feb. 8. That doubleheader will also take place at 1/4 P.M.

On the softball side of things, the Rangers have moved up their season-opening affair with Jackson State (Tenn.) from Wednesday to Monday, Feb. 6 at 4/6 P.M.

Coverage details for both schedule adjustments will be determined later in the week. Stay tuned to nwccrangers.com for further news and other schedule changes.
