SENATOBIA - Although Northwest saw its tournament run came to an end a month ago, postseason honors continue to roll in for forward DeAntoni Gordon, who was recently selected to the Region 23 All-Tournament team and the All-Region 23 team.

In a win against Jones College and a close quarterfinal loss at Pearl River, Gordon averaged 19 points and seven rebounds per game. His 27-point performance against the Bobcats marked a career-high for the former Wichita State transfer, and his four blocks and three assists helped lift the Rangers to the 72-70 victory.

Despite a 68-56 loss at top-seeded Pearl River, the Mobile, Ala. native totaled 11 points, six rebounds and two steals, finishing as one of three Rangers in double figures.

Gordon also earned first team All-MACCC honors last month, the only men's basketball student-athlete to garner postseason recognition. He is currently committed to Little Rock, choosing the Trojans over offers from other Division I programs including South Florida, Jacksonville State, Chicago State and Robert Morris University.
