Pearl River Takes Season Sweep Against Northwest

Box Score SENATOBIA - Aside from a red-hot second set from Pearl River, Northwest made things interesting throughout the opening set and late in the third, but the Wildcats held on to take a 3-0 victory on Friday afternoon.

Set scores for the match were 19-25, 14-25 and 20-25 in favor of Pearl River.

Northwest fell to 4-10 overall and dropped its first home match of the season, while Pearl River improved to 8-5 on the year.

Julissa Soto had seven kills to lead the Rangers, while India Jeffries provided five. Kamryn Conner also led Northwest with 16 digs, followed by 10 from Soto and nine from Taylor Smith.
