SENATOBIA - Basketball season in Mississippi has finally arrived, but with a few notable changes.

This week, the Mississippi Association of Community Colleges Conference and its coaches voted to adopt a mirror schedule this season, eliminating doubleheaders and reducing travel party size across the conference.

Northwest will play a 14-game division-only schedule beginning on Thursday, January 21. All members of the MACCC North Division will play six opponents home and home, while rotating in a pair of home and away contests with Coahoma and Itawamba to close out the regular season.

Home contests will be carried live on nwccrangers.com/watch along with a live stats feed. Contests played on the road will feature links to broadcasts and live stats when available.

Other factors, such as attendance and postseason formats, are still being discussed at this time. Any updates or schedule changes will be announced on nwccrangers.com and on Twitter (@NWCC_Rangers).
