SENATOBIA – Although the inaugural season for the Northwest volleyball program has been pushed back to the 2021 spring semester, the Lady Rangers have continued to finalize their roster this week, welcoming Christian Brothers University transfer Kapria Manning to the team.

Manning made her signing official this week, rounding out the full 2020 roster for head coach Allison Burchyett.

Manning led Center Hill High School to a 15-13 overall record in 2016 and led the team with 110 kills, 44 blocks and 22 aces. She was also named DeSoto County Volleyball MVP and was also selected to participate in the Mississippi Association of Coaches North-South All-Star game, where she was named MVP for the North team.

Manning spent the 2017 season with Christian Brothers University, accounting for 216 kills and 18 aces. She posted a season-high 22 kills in a win against Auburn-Montgomery on Nov. 11, 2017 and three blocks in a loss to Washburn.

In all, Northwest has 12 student-athletes that will suit up for the Lady Rangers' volleyball program this coming spring. Read more about this year's signing class here.
