SCOOBA – Following the results of Thursday's regular season finales, the Mississippi Association of Community and Junior Colleges has formally announced the schedule and matchups for next week's MACJC Tournament.

All games will be played at Keyes T. Currie Coliseum on the Scooba campus of East Mississippi Community College. EMCC earned the hosting rights for the tournament as the women's north division champion.

Both Ranger and Lady Ranger basketball teams finished with identical 15-8 overall records and clinched seeds into the tournament, which runs from Monday, Feb. 24 through Thursday, Feb. 27.

As the No. 3 seed from the north division, the Northwest men will open against No. 2-seeded Hinds (14-7) on Monday at 5:30 p.m. The winner will advance to the semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 7:30 p.m. and face off with the winner of No. 1 Northeast (22-1) and No. 4 Southwest Mississippi (14-9).

As the fourth and final seed out of the north division, the Northwest Lady Rangers are slated to play Tuesday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. against MACJC South Division champ and seventh-ranked Jones College (19-3). The winner advances to the semifinals on Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 1 p.m. against the winner of No. 2 Itawamba (17-5) and No. 3 Pearl River (15-8).
