Lady Rangers Roll to Largest Victory in 25 Years

SENATOBIA Lindsay Hall and Kayla Bradley combined to score 40 points on 15-of-17 shooting and Northwest connected on a season-high 17 three-pointers in a lopsided 103-37 victory over Blue Mountain JV Tuesday night.

Northwest improved to 5-6 on the season with its largest victory since a 65-point win over Delgado back on Nov. 11, 1993.

The Lady Rangers hit 17-of-30 from beyond the arc and shot 52 percent for the night from the floor, while holding the Lady Toppers to just 22 percent.

BMC hit the game's first basket and retook an early 4-3 lead before Northwest caught fire and never trailed the rest of the way.

Northwest led 44-19 at the half and began to pour it on the final 20 minutes.

Six different Lady Rangers scored in double figures, led by Hall's career-high 22 on 8-of-9 shooting and 18 from Bradley. Northwest's bench outscored BMC 50-11, led by 12 from Claire Fleming and 11 points and eight boards from Madison Pharr.

BMC was led by 13 from Malory Wigginton and nine points and 11 rebounds from Monesha Pegues.

Northwest will resume north division play Thursday night, traveling to Coahoma for a 6 p.m. tipoff.
