MEMPHIS – Northwest head men's basketball coach Bubba Skelton has announced the signing of 6-foot-5, 220-pound all-around forward Radarius "Pig" Washington from Memphis East High School.

"Radarius is one of the most versatile players that I have seen coming out of high school," head coach Bubba Skelton said. "He can play multiple positions and guard all of those positions defensively and has also played against the best competition in the nation and held his own. He brings energy and a physical style of play to our program."

Washington was a major contributor in helping the Mustangs to a combined 67-5 record the last two seasons and back-to-back Tennessee 3A state titles. They are the first team since 2003-2004 (White Station) to win consecutive titles in the state's largest classification.

Memphis East is coached by former NBA first round draft choice and four-time all-star Penny Hardaway.
