GREENVILLE – Mike Robinson of Greenville Christian School, the 2017 MAIS Class AA Offensive Player of the Year, has signed his letter of intent to join coach Bubba Skelton and the Northwest men's basketball program next season.

"Mike is a big, strong forward that played on a really good team at Greenville Christian," Skelton said. "We feel like he can come in and immediately help us being a physical kid. He can really bring some athleticism to our team."

The 6-foot-5, 215-pound forward averaged 20.2 points, 8.4 rebounds, 2.1 blocks and 1.8 steals per game his senior season. He led the Saints to a semifinal appearance in the MAIS Overall Tournament where he averaged 15 points while shooting 61 percent from the floor.

Robinson is a three-time district MVP, two-time MAIS AA Player of the Year and was also named MVP of the MAIS All-Star Game last season.
