COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – Northwest is ranked 20th in the first NJCAA Division II regular season baseball poll released on Tuesday afternoon.

The rankings are based off team performance through Sunday, March 12 and do not reflect results of games played since then.

After receiving votes in the preseason, Northwest is back in familiar territory. The Rangers have finished in the Top 20 in each of the last three seasons under longtime head coach Mark Carson.

Northwest has won nine of its last 13 and is currently 12-6 overall heading into its MACJC-opener at Pearl River on Saturday.

Northwest is one of seven teams from the very competitive MACJC ranked in this week's poll.
