SENATOBIA – Northwest recently received a generous donation of two new John Deere mowers from Parker Tractor & Implement Company in Tunica.

The mowers are to be used to maintain the college's football and baseball fields.

Presenting the equipment to Northwest president Dr. Gary Lee Spears last week were athletic director Bubba Skelton, customer service representative Richard Blaine, lawn and small tractor salesman, Andrew Oetzel, and general manager Jeff Horn.

Both Oetzel and Horn are Northwest alumni. Oetzel was an All-MACJC tight end in 1999, an All-Region offensive lineman in 2000 and an NCJAA Academic All-American. Horn was an athletic trainer on the 1992 NJCAA National Championship football team.
