FULTON – The 2016 MACJC Basketball Tournament gets underway on Monday at 1 p.m. at the Davis Event Center on the campus of Itawamba Community College. The tournament runs Monday, Feb. 22 through Thursday, Feb. 25 with daily game times at 1, 3, 6 and 8 p.m.
Northwest's men's team (16-7), runner-up in the north division, will open play at 1 p.m. on Monday against Southwest Mississippi (14-8). It marks the Rangers' fourth tournament appearance in the past five seasons and 32nd conference tournament bid.
The Lady Rangers (16-4), also runner-up in the north division, will open play at 1 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 23 against Copiah-Lincoln (20-3), the defending MACJC Champions. The women are making their 28th overall conference tournament appearance and fourth straight.
