SENATOBIA – Local prep athletes will soon have the chance to showcase their skills, as the Northwest baseball program will host a Futures and Prospect Day on Wednesday, July 1, 2015.

Participants can register the day of the workout which will begin at 10 a.m. at Matthews Park in Senatobia, which is located at 121 Matthews Drive.

Registration for the showcase is $50 and is open to all rising sophomores, juniors and seniors. The showcase will feature a pro-style workout and will focus on arm strength, defensive skills, hitting, pitching and catching.

This is the first of two Futures and Prospect Day workouts that Northwest will host, as an additional session will take place later in the fall. The date for that event will be announced later.
