Kendall Alford's groundout and scored off Holliday's single to shortstop to give the Rangers the 3-2 win in eight innings.
(Game 2) Northwest capped the doubleheader sweep with another comeback win in the finale.
JSCC touched
Peyton Rico for three runs in the second to take a 3-1 lead after two but Northwest would rally for a big fourth inning to get Rico off the hook.

Bree Thompson and came around to score herself off an error to tie the game. Northwest took its first and only lead of the game, 4-3, on
Ashton Needham's RBI-single with two outs.
Dunagan then mowed down the Lady Generals the ensuing three innings, allowing just one hit and striking out the side in the seventh to secure the victory.
Northwest will host Southwest Tennessee at 2 p.m. on Wednesday to close a 10-game homestand.
