CLARKSDALE – The Northwest softball team picked up a pair of 7-0 forfeit wins at Coahoma on Saturday to improve to 13-3 overall and 9-1 in the north division.

After making the 55-minute trip to Clarksdale and taking a 9-0 lead in the top of the first with one out, Lady Tiger starting pitcher, Gabrielle Lee, injured her shoulder and could not continue.

Down to just eight available players, Coahoma was then forced to forfeit both games. 

Northwest will host East Mississippi on Sunday, March 29 at 2 p.m.
