KOSCIUSKO – Senior outfielder Kali Roberts of Kosciusko High School signed her national letter of intent on Thursday to continue her softball career at Northwest Community College.

"Kali is a fantastic pick up for us," second-year assistant coach Carie Dever Boaz said. "She's got great speed, a cannon of an arm and can cover almost the entire outfield. She will produce at the plate as well."

Roberts hit .318 during her junior season with six triples, two doubles, 13 RBIs and 24 runs scored. She added eight stolen bases with a .414 on-base percentage for the 21-6 Whippets.

Mike Rowan is the head softball coach at Northwest and enters his 12th year with the program in 2015.
