RAYMOND – In the second MACJC event of the spring season this past weekend at Eagle Ridge Golf Club, Northwest shot a two-day total of 642 (327-315) to finish in a tie for seventh overall out of 10 teams.
"We played a little better on the second day, but it was a pretty weak showing on our part," volunteer assistant
Guy Purdy said. "We played about as bad as we could play. I saw where some of our problems are and we're going to try and correct that this week in practice. Our short game is still letting us down."

Alan Larson and
Martin Powell were the Rangers' low men on the weekend, both finishing in a tie for 22nd. Larson shot a 82-76 and Powell carded a 79-79.
Stuart Cochran (85-75, T31),
