JACKSON – Senior shortstop Christina Berryhill of Hillcrest Christian School has signed her national letter of intent to continue her softball career at Northwest Mississippi Community College.

"Christina is a great defensive player and will be solid for us in the field," first-year assistant coach Carie Dever Boaz said. "She is fast and covers a ton of ground. She is also an energetic player who loves the game."

Berryhill helped Hillcrest to a 25-7 mark this past fall and north half championship after hitting .310 with 17 RBIs and also fielding .980. She is the eighth signee in Northwest's Class of 2015.
