POPLARVILLE – Friday's elimination game between Northwest and Northeast at the MACJC State Tournament has been postponed in the 9th inning due to heavy rain and thunderstorms.

Northwest leads 3-0 and will have runners at first and second with no outs when the game resumes at 1 p.m. Saturday. Weather permitting of course.

The winner will move on to the semifinals at 5 p.m. and play the loser of #8 Pearl River and East Central which will be played at 2 p.m.
