CLINTON – Sophomores Domonique Harris and Charles Eaton closed out their Northwest careers last Saturday in the finals of the Region 23 Tournament and ended it with the individual honor of being named to the All-Tournament Team.

Northwest, who finished with its best record since the 2005-06 season at 19-8 overall, lost a heartbreaker to East Mississippi, 66-62, in the championship game.

Harris averaged 20.3 points on 54 percent shooting (21 of 39) during the weekend and averaged 5.7 rebounds. He added six assists, three steals and a block.

Eaton averaged 16 points on 49 percent shooting (16 of 33) and 4.0 rebounds per game. He added five assists and four steals.

The duo were second and third on the team in scoring during the year, with Harris averaging 14.8 points and Eaton 13.0 points on an offense that averaged 82.1 points per game.
