Ranger Softball Field

For most of its history, the Northwest softball program has called the Ranger Softball Field home.

Northwest added fast-pitch softball in 2000 and, after playing at the city park for a season, moved to the on-campus facility in the fall of 2001 under the direction of MACCC Hall of Famer Mike Rowan.

The Rangers have posted an impressive 169-72-1 record (.700) at home since 2007.

Prior to the 2021 season, the Rangers moved to their temporary home at the Senatobia Sports Park in order to accommodate the construction of a new fieldhouse facility bordering the home dugout. Slated for a spring 2022 completion, the building will be a shared space with the Northwest soccer programs and will feature locker rooms, coaches' offices, a weight room and new restrooms and concession facilities for fans.

A new press box and bleachers were constructed before the start of the 2013 season with seating for 200 fans. There are spots down the foul lines on each side that can hold 50 spectators. A concession stand and restrooms are situated adjacent the home dugout, as the area is also home to Ranger soccer in the fall.

Pets, tobacco, weapons and firearms are not allowed at the facility or anywhere else on the Senatobia campus.
