Jim Miles Field

As one of the premier baseball facilities in the MACCC, Jim Miles Field has served as the home of the Rangers since the mid-1970's.

The field was formally named Jim Miles Field during 2013 Homecoming weekend.

Nestled near the middle of campus, the ballpark offers fans a great view of the action from several different angles and three sets of bleachers that can seat approximately 800 spectators.

A warning track was added in the fall of 2010, spanning around the backstop, to both dugouts, and down the base lines. The installation of lights was completed in July of 2011 and a new brick backstop and netting was finished prior to the 2013 season. The stadium also has a spacious elevated press box that can seat eight persons as well as restrooms and a concession stand.

In the summer of 2015, Jim Miles Field saw a $500,000 renovation project. The playing surface was completely redone, fenced in bullpens were added and home plate was moved back 15 feet. Both dugouts were demolished and rebuilt above ground, spanning over 70 feet in length.

Ahead of the 2020 season, the playing surface at Jim Miles Field underwent extensive improvements, helping improve drainage issues at the facility. Prior to the 2021 season, a new state-of-the-art videoboard was added in left center field, providing fans with a new gameday experience.

The $3 million, 10,000 square foot Castle Baseball Complex was dedicated in August of 2025. The facility, adjacent to Jim Miles Field, contains an indoor training area with a climate-controlled four-lane hitting and pitching practice area, a weight lifting training area, uniform and equipment storage and laundry facilities, a locker room with hand-crafted lockers, showers for baseball players, and coaches' offices.

Pets, tobacco, weapons and firearms are not allowed at the facility or anywhere else on the Senatobia campus.
