Freshman outfielder Brittni Beard led the Rangers at the plate in the month of March and was just one of four players to hit over the .300 mark.

Beard batted .380 in 18 starts with three doubles, two home runs and nine RBIs. In the outfield, Beard committed only one error in 25 chances.
