Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

Filling in for her injured teammate Ashlee Rogers, freshman defender turned goalkeeper Morgan Wilson has been outstanding for Northwest.

Wilson, a DeSoto Central product, posted a 4-1 record with 33 saves in the month of September and has helped the Lady Rangers out to their second-best start in school history. She allowed just seven goals for a 1.40 GAA and had a .825 saves percentage in 450 minutes played.

Wilson was also recognized twice last month as the MACJC Defensive Player of the Week.
