In a 2-0 month of December, including a 78-67 division-opening win over East Mississippi, sophomore Therrell Gosier II averaged 15 points and 8.5 rebounds per game to help the Rangers to an 8-1 start at the Christmas break.

Gosier had 20 points and 10 rebounds in a lopsided win at Rhodes College JV, giving him his first double-double of the season and fourth for his career.
