Northwest Mississippi Community College Rangers

Freshman Baron Davies enjoyed one of the most prolific months to start a season, putting up gaudy numbers in the Rangers' 8-2 start.

Davies hit .421 with two doubles, six home runs and 19 RBIs in the month of February and posted a 1.474 slugging percentage.

The Southaven product hit one home run his entire high school career, but hit five in a three-game stretch for Northwest. He was a two-time MACJC Player of the Week selection and earned national recognition as well.
