In a 10-8 month of March (5-5 north), Bruce native Chase Clark hit .380 with two doubles, four home runs, 18 RBIs, eight walks, seven runs scored and three hit-by-pitches. He also slugged .660 with a .492 on-base percentage.
Clark received MACJC and NJCAA Division II Player of the Week honors on March 11 after going 6-for-9 with a double, two home runs and four RBIs in a doubleheader split with previously unbeaten Jones County. The sophomore went a career-high 5-for-5 in the 7-1 game one win, the Bobcats' first loss of the year. He also slugged 1.444 with 13 total bases.
Clark is hitting .354 on the year with five doubles, five home runs and 25 RBIs.
